Safer Internet Day is celebrated globally in February each year to promote the safe and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
The Agency for the Protection of Personal Data on February 8, 2022. organized online events in Macedonian and Albanian on the topic “How to safely have fun and play online”. IV and V grade students from several elementary schools in the country took an active part in the event.
On the occasion of the Safe Internet Day, the Agency in cooperation with the EU twinning project “Support in the implementation of the modernized legal framework for the protection of personal data” produced an information sheet on the topic “Privacy of children and young people in the world of modern technologies (Internet and social networks)”. .
