The Director of the Personal Data Protection Agency, Imer Aliu, today, October 6, 2022, before the final conference of the EU Twinning project “Support in the implementation of the modernized national framework for the protection of personal data”, held a meeting with the director of the Croatian Agency for the Protection of Personal Data Zdravko Vukić and the deputy director Igor Vulje, which concluded the successful twinning cooperation.
Namely, the Personal Data Protection Agency, in cooperation with partners from the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ) and the Central Agency for Financing and Contracting (SAFU) of the Republic of Croatia, have been implementing the twinning project for the last 17 months, the aim of which was to advance the work of the Agency and to improve the protection of fundamental rights and strengthen the capacities and work of the national authority for the protection of personal data in the Republic of North Macedonia in accordance with the standards of the European Union.
The final conference will be held tomorrow on October 7, 2022 in Skopje, where the achieved results of the twinning project “Support in the implementation of the modernized national framework for the protection of personal data” will be presented.
