On May 17 and 18, 2022, representatives of the Personal Data Protection Agency participated in a Conference on the topic: “Regional Perspective for Online Election Campaigns – Challenges and Opportunities for Election Integrity” organized by the OSCE/ODIHR Office for Democratic Institutions and human rights in Podgorica, Montenegro.

On May 18, 2022, a representative of the Agency took part as a panelist and speaker at the conference with a presentation on the topic: Protection of the personal data of the online identities of voters in and outside the election campaign in North Macedonia, during which the legal framework for the protection of personal data from the aspect of electoral processes, the activities of the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data related to the protection of personal data in the electoral process (supervisions, supervisions, recommendations) and the challenges and risks related to the protection of personal data in the electoral process were explained, especially from the aspect of online advertising of political parties and election participants.
