Profiles of people who present themselves falsely are not allowed on Instagram!
The services for reporting a fake profile on Instagram are not translated into the Macedonian language, therefore below are given instructions translated from English to Macedonian for better understanding.
If someone has created a profile impersonating you, follow these steps:
- Click on the link
- Select: Privacy & Safety Center
- Select: Report Something
- Select: Impersonation Accounts
- Select: What can I do if someone is impersonating me on Instagram? (What can I do if someone impersonates me on Instagram?)
- A text will appear offering two ways to report a fake profile:
• If you have an Instagram account, you can report through the application itself or by filling out this form .
• If you do not have an Instagram account, and you want to report a fake account opened in your name, select the option “fill out this form”.
If someone created an Instagram account that’s pretending to be you or someone you know, please use this form to file a report. If someone has created an Instagram profile posing as you or someone you know, use this form:
- Which of the following best describes your situation? Which of the following best describes your situation?
- Someone created an account for my business or organization
- Someone created an account pretending to be me or a friend
- Someone created an account pretending to be someone I represent (ex: my child)
- I can’t log into my old account
- Is this profile someone pretending to be you? Is this account impersonating you?

- No, this account is impersonating my friend

The Instagram username of the account you’re reporting:

It is necessary to submit a scanned document for personal identification with a photo through which your identity will be determined. Otherwise, your request will not be processed.
At the end of the completed form, it is necessary to click on the ” SEND ” button.
After you have submitted the report, the Instagram administrator will contact you at the email you provided and inform you about the measures/steps taken.
