
On the 7th and 8th of April in Budva, Montenegro, a workshop was held for representatives of the Personal Data Protection Agencies and Public Prosecutor’s Offices from North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania, on the subject of standards for the protection of personal data of EUROPRAVDA (EUROJUST) in the public prosecutor’s offices and guidelines for preparing a report on EUROPRAVDA.
During the workshop, the representatives from the participating countries started with the legislative and nomotechnical preparation of the Legal Framework – guidelines for the process of supervision in the public prosecutor’s offices and for the preparation of a report for EUROPRAVDA.
As a final observation, joint conclusions were reached regarding the continuation of the regional cooperation between the participating countries (North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Albania) established through the project “Suppression of serious crime in the Western Balkans” – IPA 2019 for the exchange of experiences in the area of personal data protection and its application in public prosecutor’s offices and courts, as well as to continue submitting reports to EUROPRAVDA.
The workshop was organized by the regional IPA project “Suppression of serious crime in the Western Balkans” and by the German Society for International Cooperation – GIZ, in cooperation with Europravda.
