The Agency for the Protection of Personal Data with the support of the EU twinning project “Support in the implementation of the modernized legal framework for the protection of personal data”, on September 21 and 22, 2022, organized the eleventh training session on personal data protection on the topic “Introduction to personal data protection” and “Certification and accreditation”.
On the first day of the training, the novelties of ZZLP definitions, principles for the protection of personal data, measures for the protection of personal data, rights of the subject of personal data, other obligations of controllers and processors were clarified.
On the second day of the training, the following content was covered: terminology, purpose and benefits of certification, certification standard, certificate issuance, certification criteria, validity and withdrawal of the certificate, public register, legal effects of certification, accreditation of certification bodies, conditions to be met by certification bodies and accreditation criteria.
