The Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, with the support of the EU twinning project “Support in the implementation of the modernized legal framework for the protection of personal data” , started with the realization of free online trainings for the protection of personal data intended for controllers from the public and private sectors. The first training was held on March 9 and 10, 2022 on “Introduction to Personal Data Protection” and “Personal Data Protection Officer”. At the training, German expert Stefan Niederer shared the German experience and practices in the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

On March 23 and 24, 2022, the second training session on personal data protection will be organized on the topic “Introduction to personal data protection”, “Breach of personal data security” and “Video surveillance”. The lecturer of the trainings will be the Croatian expert Barbara Susic, who will share the Croatian experience and practices in the implementation of the GDPR.
