In the period from April 17-19 in Strumica, with the support of the OSCE Mission in Skopje, a three-day training was held for 21 coordinators from secondary schools in the territory of the City of Skopje, with the aim of advanced training of the target group – teachers from secondary schools to raise public awareness of the protection of personal data, mechanisms for the prevention and prevention of misuse of personal data on social networks, as well as prevention of situations for the spread of hate speech.

This work program was determined as a need according to the previously implemented activities and analyzes of the project, as well as at the direct request of the coordinators.

The need for education and broader knowledge of the areas is a necessary step towards dealing with the challenges that secondary school teachers encounter when working with students.

The education was titled: ” Educational resources for protecting personal data and combating hate speech”.

The topics that were covered are in the direction of the presentation of the educational resources that are available in order to spread knowledge and their further use in the methodological work with the students, in order to support the target groups in education for the education of these topics.

At the same time, the coordinators expressed interest in further elaboration of these topics in the lessons and implementation of activities in cooperation with the Directorate for Personal Data Protection.

The Directorate for the Protection of Personal Data pays particular attention to the education of the three target groups in the educational process.
