{"id":12012,"date":"2021-07-08T13:58:30","date_gmt":"2021-07-08T11:58:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/azlp.mk\/signed-memorandum-of-cooperation-between-azlp-and-nuk\/"},"modified":"2021-07-08T13:58:30","modified_gmt":"2021-07-08T11:58:30","slug":"signed-memorandum-of-cooperation-between-azlp-and-nuk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/azlp.mk\/en\/signed-memorandum-of-cooperation-between-azlp-and-nuk\/","title":{"rendered":"Signed Memorandum of Cooperation between AZLP and NUK"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 07.07.2021, the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, represented by director Imer Aliu, and the Independent Hospitality Chamber, represented by president Zdravko Josifovski, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>This memorandum confirms the joint commitment and interest in promoting the cooperation between the Agency and the Chamber in the area of providing information, education, support to caterers for harmonizing their operations with the principles, values and rules for the protection of personal data provided for in the protection regulations of personal data.<\/p>\n<p>In that direction, the Agency and the Chamber will cooperate and act in order to implement joint activities that will contribute to raising public awareness of the right to the protection of personal data and improving, upgrading and adjusting the established systems for the protection of the personal data of caterers with the regulations for the protection of personal data.<\/p>\n<p>Hence, the Chamber will have a coordinating role in order to provide timely information to its members and caterers about the obligations according to the regulations for the protection of personal data, and based on the guidelines previously given by the Agency, what steps should be taken by the caterers in order to comply their work with the regulations for the protection of personal data and what documentation they should bring to ensure the security of the processing of personal data in accordance with the risk of the processing, while also being able to demonstrate compliance with the principles related to the processing of personal data. Also, the Chamber will provide complete logistical support during the implementation of trainings for the protection of personal data for interested representatives of the caterers registered through the Chamber itself after a previously concluded agreement of each registered caterer with the Agency in terms of organizing and ensuring the presence of the target groups.<\/p>\n<p>Taking into account the specific characteristics of the various sectors of personal data processing in the catering industry and the specific needs of micro, small, medium and large catering facilities and companies, and in order to contribute to the correct application of the regulations for the protection of personal data, the Chamber began drafting a Code of Conduct for the hospitality industry to specify the application of the regulations for the protection of personal data in terms of fair and transparent processing, the collection of personal data, the exercise of the rights of the subjects of personal data, the measures to ensure the security of processing according to the risk according to Article 44 of the Law on Personal Data Protection.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On 07.07.2021, the Agency for the Protection of Personal Data, [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":9161,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[176],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.9 -
